Harrison Ford was born on July 13, 1942, in Chicago, Illinois, making him 81 years old as of 2023.

Before becoming an actor, Harrison Ford worked as a carpenter and was hired by filmmaker George Lucas to build cabinets for his home.  

Ford's breakthrough role came in 1977 when he portrayed the iconic character Han Solo in the original "Star Wars" film.  

Ford is also widely known for his role as the adventurous archaeologist Indiana Jones in the "Indiana Jones" film series 

Ford has portrayed a wide range of characters in various genres, including "Blade Runner" (1982), "Witness" (1985), "The Fugitive" (1993), and "Air Force One" (1997). 

Ford has been nominated for an Academy Award for his performances in "Witness" and "The Fugitive," both in the Best Actor category. 

In 2000, Ford was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to the film industry. 

Ford is an accomplished pilot and owns several aircraft. He has been involved in various aviation incidents, including a crash landing on a golf course in 2015 

Ford is known for performing many of his own stunts, showcasing his physicality and commitment to his roles.  

Ford is actively involved in environmental conservation efforts and serves as the vice-chair of the environmental organization Conservation International.
